What It Is

I need to be more present in my present, if that makes any sense. There has been a fleeting quality to my days as of late. Also: I feel like I am fading.

Found this poem:

What it is
Erich Fried
Translated by Anna Kallio

It is nonsense
says reason
It is what it is
says love

It is calamity
says calculation
It is nothing but pain
says fear
It is hopeless
says insight
It is what it is
says love

It is ludicrous
says pride
It is foolish
says caution
It is impossible
says experience
It is what it is
says love

Good morning, M.
